Displacement is a project I’ve started a while ago. It’s an exploration of my own approach to landscape photography. On one side I find it to be something of a “Road movie” in regards that all the images are a result of a journey. A journey which is a search and always leads me north, mostly to Norway. The journey repeats itself, every time i go back there, searching and always almost catching the thing I want. Most of the times I wander alone through the vast empty spaces, mountains, plateaus, fjords and feel somewhat disconnected – shifted from myself.
